Committee Members
The Bressingham Steam Society's activities are governed by a voluntary committee elected annually by the society members. Each of the committee members have specific roles. Below you will find their name and profile.

Alex Collis
Chairman

David Hall
Secretary

Alex has volunteered at the museum since 2001. He started working on the road engines for many years (mainly Garrett 4CD Bunty) but now drives on the railways, as well as operating the centre engine of the Gallopers steam roundabout. Alex is involved in rallying the road engines and also several projects at the museum, including the clear up of the Nursery site.
David has long been involved in model building until one day in 2007 someone suggested he tried the real thing, so he became a volunteer at Bressingham. He is interested in historic transport of all types but particularly railways, large and small. David is currently providing support with exhibits and helping organise the model railway shows. His other hobby is photography - for which Bressingham and other railways far and wide provide plenty of good subjects.
Allan is a driver and guard at Bressingham on all the narrow gauge railways and also operates the stationary engines and centre engine of the Gallopers roundabout. Allan has a great interest in model engineering. He has helped construct and supervise the newly instated miniature railway at Bressingham. This is operated by and for the Young Steamers club, a group of 10 to 16 years olds with an interest in steam. Allan runs this group with his wife Shirley.

Tadzik
Kaznowski
Tadzik has been volunteering at Bressingham Steam Museum since 2000. Tadzik has a wide interest in all historic vehicles and regularly visits railways around Europe to increase "inter-country" steam railway relations.

John Kemp
Shirley
Berry

Shirley has been a volunteer at Bressingham for six years now. She enjoys meeting people and has found working at Bressingham to be a great way of doing this. She works as a guard on all the railways, often with her husband Allan, with whom she runs the Young Steamers club. She also runs the 100 Club, a lottery which aims to help raise funds for the museum and now produces the Society's quarterly news magazine.
